Ethel Bedford Fenwick(1857-1947)

 出生： 1857 年 1 月 26 日，英國埃爾金

逝世： 1947 年 3 月 13 日，倫敦Colney Hatch

 1902年成立的護士國家註冊協會

1904年成立的英國和愛爾蘭全國護士理事會

最終，在1919年，隨著護士登記法的通過，

開啟護理成為國家註冊認可的一門專業，

Ethel Bedford Fenwick的名字被登記為國家註冊護士的第1號。

1927年她成立了英國護理學院(British College of Nurses)

1893年創立了英國護理雜誌

1899 年更結合Lavinia Dock及Agnes Karl的力量，創立國際護理協會(ICN)，

這個是法文repondez s’il vous plait，
等同於英文是 request for responses（請求回覆）,
也就是please respond或是 please reply，
其後面常會跟著一個日期，例如RSVP by 1/2，就是要對方在一月二日前回覆。

最近論文被國外的國際研討會接受，但是被接受固然開心，有時也需要回覆主辦單位。

品質改善（quality improvement study）的論文研究是實施科學中的常見主題，是在真實情境分析的基礎上提出研究問題，並針對關鍵問題建構介入措施，在真實情景中應用改善措施，來改進衛生保健中的問題與不足，並維持長期的改善效果，持續促進醫療保健品質。

為了規範品質改善研究報告，提升品質改進研究的價值，推動期刊編輯和審稿人對質量改進研究的認識，美國衛生保健促進研究所和達特茅斯醫學院衛生保健促進研究所的方法學家、研究者、期刊編輯共同組成國際性合作組，通過廣泛收集資料、多次研討、作者試用和反覆修訂，於2005年起草了《質量改進研究的報告標準》草案。經過3年的試用與修訂，於2008年正式發佈了第1版《質量改進研究的報告標準》（Standards for QUality Improvement Reporting Excellence，SQUIRE）和具體建議指南。

經由對使用者的訪談、專家組討論、作者使用和反饋，於2015年發佈了第2版的SQUIRE清單，同步刊登於期刊上，並被收錄於研究論文報告與評價工具數據庫EQUATOR （http://www.equator-network.org/）。
